Queridos amigos:
Un año más queremos daros la bienvenida al XXVI CURSO INTERNACIONAL DE CIRUGIA RECONSTRUCTIVA OSTEOARTICULAR – CIRUGÍA DE CADERA que organiza la Unidad de Cadera (Servicio de Cirugía Ortopédica y Traumatología) del Hospital Universitario La Paz.
Esta edición, cuenta de nuevo con el respaldo de la European Hip Society, y con la participación de experimentados ponentes europeos de cadera expertos de gran prestigio internacionales y nacionales que son líderes de opinión en cirugía de cadera.
En esta ocasión hemos estructurado un programa en el que se discutan los problemas actuales más relevantes de la cirugía de cadera (la artroplastia en el pacientes joven, las nuevas tecnologías,…) así como lo retos a los que nos podremos enfrentar en el futuro (los grandes defectos óseos, las complicaciones de la artroplastia).
Este Curso que es bianual y se elabora con mucha ilusión desde la Unidad de Cadera del Hospital La Paz. Nuestro objetivo es difundir el conocimiento sobre la cirugía del cadera, pero somos conscientes que éste no estaría completo sin vuestra interacción en los debates y discusiones programadas. Realmente creemos que el CURSO INTERNACIONAL DE CIRUGIA RECONSTRUCTIVA OSTEOARTICULAR – CIRUGÍA DE CADERA se ha consolidado como una reunión agradable que nos ayuda a hacer que la cirugía de cadera sea más atractiva para los cirujanos ortopédicos de todo el mundo.
Queremos, por tanto, que nos acompañéis en éste, y en los que se celebrarán en el futuro.
Esperamos que el programa sea de vuestro agrado y que cumpla con las expectativas que habéis puesto en él.

Once again we would like to warmly welcome you to the XXVI INTERNATIONAL COURSE OF OSTEOARTICULAR RECONSTRUCTIVE SURGERY – HIP SURGERY organized by the Hip Unit (Orthopaedic & Traumatology Surgery Department) of La Paz University Hospital.
This edition has the support of the European Hip Society (EHS), and the participation of highly renowned European and Spanish hip speakers who are highly regarded leaders on hip surgery.
We have structured a program in which the most relevant current problems in hip surgery are discussed (arthroplasty in young patients, new technologies,…) as well as the challenges that we may face in the future (large bone defects, complications of hip Arthroplasty, etc…).
This biannual Course, is prepared with great enthusiasm by The Hip Unit of La Paz Hospital. Our aim is to spread the knowledge on hip surgery, but we also recognise that it would not be complete without your partipation in the scheduled dicussions and debates. We truly believe that the INTERNATIONAL COURSE OF OSTEOARTICULAR RECONSTRUCTIVE SURGERY – HIP SURGERY has been consolidated as an enjoyable meeting that helps us make hip surgery more appealing for orthopedic surgeons worldwide.
